Hi, I'm a 22 year old and I've just finished Uni.

I'm starting my first job in 4 weeks and I'm looking to buy a new handbag to take to work (I'll be working in the marketing dept of a large food brand). The bag needs to look professional, but I don't want it too boring because I want to wear it out as well.

I haven't a clue where to begin looking because while I was a student I was so poor that I usually just bought vintage bags, but they are too tatty for a professional office.

Can you recommend any brands that might work. I went into Myer but there were so many, I just got confused. My budget is up to $500.

marc jacobs have a good range - and fairly young designs

Last week a bought a new Fossil bag. I can't remember the exact style but it is a tan leather messenger-style bag. I though it would be great to use at work and for travel... since you can shop hands free. it was $300
