Not sure if this is the right place to put this .... but I want to send a good friend of mine flowers (or something) as she has just announced her engagement. I can't physically go to see her, so was thinking flowers may be the go.

Do you have any suggestions as to what I may be able to organise on-line ???

alternatively, you can call up your fave florist and since you both live in melb...see if they would deliver

alternatively, depending on how much you may want to spend, a gift voucher to a restaurant or gold class cinemas which can all be organised over the phone or the internet

flowers are nice though...i always love being surprised with flowers...

Flowers are such a lovely gift! You're a good friend! You don't usually get presents for just announcing it, so flowers are a nice idea

I think they are all gorgeous and am leaning toward the round vase with the roses.

I have the same issue trying to send a present for an engagment I'd tossing over a 'wedding planner' book or some picture frames from country road.
