was just wondering what presents you all bought your family and friends this christmas

My gift list

For my mother I bought a Carels soft leather travel wallet in a light pink-beige colour and some belgian chocolate from DJ's.

For my fussy stepfather - a 200 piece tool kit and a shirt.

For my boyfriend a gorgeously luxurious white Calvin Klein bathrobe and an itunes voucher.

For my grandmother - a Skinceuticals gift set, be-jewelled butterfly jewellery holder, Swarovski crystal and glass butterfly perfume bottle.

For my grandfather - A couple of polo shirts and some gourmet items to make into a hamper.

For my best friend I bought an Alannah Hill silver and Swarovski crystal heart necklace and earrings.

My gift list is...

Mum - Clarins gift pack full of goodies.

Dad - Oroton Wallet + Money Clip gift set.

Brother - West Wing DVD set.

For mum... A gift basket filled with: Bobbi Brown Apricot Shimmer Brick, Nars Deep Throat Blush, 3 x Stila Brushes, Stila 6 Pan and 6 Eye Shadows, The Body Shop Mango Shower Gel and I still have to get her some choccies and a few bits and pieces to fill the rest of the gift basket.
Dad - I gave him 200.00 cash because he wants to buy a good telescope so he is putting the money towards that, I am also getting him some chocolates (good quality).
Brother - Beatles Calender (He is obsessed!) and a nice t shirt.
Sister - One of those make up gift sets from Myer.
Boyfriend - 350.00 alarm system for his car, a back massager thing that fits into chairs etc, DVD gift set, Calvin Klein Mininature set and I have to get him some choccies.
Nan - Calvin Klein Eternity Perfume gift set and have to get choccies.
B/F Mum - Calvin Klein Eternity Perfume gift set and choccies.
B/F Dad - Calvin Klein Miniature Gift Set and have to get choccies.
B/F Sister - Clinique Lip Gloss gift Set.
Friend - Stila Rose Moon Palette and the Body Shop Mango Shower Gel.

I can't wait to go Christmas shopping this year. it's been such a depressing year with the GFC that I just want to forget about it and wallow in the shallowness of gift giving and gift buying

i agree - there's been too much doom and gloom this year. bring on Christmas!!!!!!! :)
