A beautiful Tiffany's diamond necklace. We bought it in Singapore. It was a gift for a wedding anniversary.
Very romantic - however the glamour of the moment was somewhat tarnished by my husband going over to the calculator in the corner every few minutes to convert Singapore dollars into British pounds. I'm sure I saw a bead of sweat trickle down his face at one stage. To give him credit though, he didn't flinch when I chose the more expensive necklace.
It's a present that will last forever (along with my husband's morbid fear of Tiffany's)
a $500 gift voucher for Alannah Hill. I wouldn't normally go into a shop like that ( I could never normally afford it!) but since I had the gift voucher I was forced to. I bought the most amazing red flower dress and some accessories which I wore to my 30th birthday party. I have been a AH fan ever since and now look for clothes in other designer shops as well. It changed my attitude to buying clothes - I now buy less clothes, but better quallity clothes
Definitley a black Chanel handbag, which was 15 years ago. I got it for a 21st birthday present from my sister. I still have it and use it alot... and it still looks good
a car for my 18th birthday from my parents. It was a second hand old bomb - but I loved it. I'm hoping they buy me a BMW for my 30th birthday coming up!
I was going to buy my parents a $50 gift voucher each from Westfields as Christmas presents.... (from the Post Office)... but there was a $5.95 activation fee for each card... so I decided against it and went for a Coles Myer gift card instead (no activation fee!)
My best gift ever was laser eye surgery for my 21st birthday
when I left the UK my friends put together a photo album and scrap book showing what we'd done together over the years. As well as loads of photos, there were old concert tickets, pub coasters etc. Even a horrible old pair of earrings I used to wear at Uni all the time. It was definitely the best gift I ever received because of the time and effort they all put into it.
my ipod. I got it as a christmas gift from my husband. I was not expecting it... and didn't really want one. But now I love it and use it all the time.
I also got some Tiffany's jewellery - as a 10th wedding anniversary gift. I'll never forget the excitement when my husband took me into the store. I picked out a diamond and white gold eternity ring. I absolutely love it and wear it every day. By far my best gift so far.
My husband organised for us to stay at the Four Seasons hotel in Bali for our 10th Wedding anniversary. It was such a romantic gift. When we arrived, the bath was already running and sprinkled with rose petals. He had organised a his and her massage in the spa the next morning and gave me a diamond eternity ring as well. I'll never forget it. I don't think I'll ever be given a gift that will top that.
yes jaime - I agree. My 2 healthy children are my best gifts ever. I also got a diamond eternity ring from my husband after the birth of our first child which was really special as well.
definitely the best gift I ever got was my hubby. I met him on my birthday. I was out with a group of friends and he was a friend of a friend. She introduced us and we've been together ever since. Really soppy I know... but it WAS the best gift ever!
I was given a full size retro style jukebox from my wife. She got it from a webstore on the internet called www.hirejukebox.com.au . I love it! It sits in my games room and everyone who sees it thinks its awesome.

My girlfriend bought it for my 30th birthday. it's such a beautiful gift that I can keep forever
I remember buying heaps of clothes with my card - the best thing was that it wasn't limited to just one store!
