it depends on lots of factors - such as can you afford it? Sydney is an expensive place to get married (mind you everywhere is expensive I guess) Are you paying for all the bridal party's clothes, shoes and jewellery etc. If they are keeping them, isn't that a gift?
If they are paying for their own dresses shoes etc - then a small gift is nice, but I don't think anyone would expect it. Just throw a nice dinner party for them all when you get back from honeymoon and that's a nice way to say thanks
i think the whole gift thing with weddings is overdone - even the bomboniere thing is OTT. If someone expects a gift for helping you out on the most important day of your life, then they aren't a freind
some nice stationery.... like a boxed set of thank you cards or plain cards. I bought my wedding party some beautiful cards from New York. They loved it!
Some people say we don't need to give a gift at all.
What have others done?
Advice appreciated.
