Gifts Ideas for Difficult Situations > wedding present for ex boyfriend

my ex-boyfriend is getting married and I've been invited to the wedding. I had a terrible break-up with him and have just started talking to him again after 2 years. I don't know why he's invited me and I can't say no in case he thinks it's because I still have feelings (not true) for him and can't bear him getting married.

so gift ideas for this situation would be welcome. I don't really like him but quite I like his soon-to-be wife. They're not having a gift registry, so it's a free for all!

mmmm hard one. I would rise above it. buy them something classic such as white linen like this....

It's the sort of present that people give at weddings all the time, so your ex definitley won't get the wrong idea... and it's not cheap, so he'll know you're not jealous.

Hope that helps

I wouldn't go... I'd just say I couldn't make it and walk away from the situation. It will only lead to trouble

buy them a gift voucher for a marriage counsellor! It sounds like he's playing games and just likes to think that all owmen fancy him - a recipe for disaster for any marriage

buy him a toaster. it's quite a unimaginative gift and he'll be in no doubt about your feelings for him.

if you want a guys point of view - just give them a gift voucher for an average amount ($50-$100). Anything else might be analysed for extra meaning by him or his wife.
